Project Background:

When Columbia Memorial Hospital were doing a $1 million expansion to their maternity department, they asked me to produce a rendering to show staff and the public what the new space would look like.  The image was used in advertising, press releases and internal communications.

How it was done:

Using architectural floor plans and interior elevations, I created a 3D SketchUp model of the space and applied the colors and materials they were planning on using.  I rendered the view from SketchUp in Photoshop in a soft, painterly style.
