Project Background:
Playa Crystal was all about the romance of an earlier era. The original dream for this 12-acre, waterfront property in Key Largo, Florida, was a barefoot-friendly, residential resort that recreated Hemingway’s Cuba.
As is common for such projects, the vision has changed, but the original site plan is still impressive in its ambition and appeal.
Design Visualization Process:
The developer needed images to help in their effort to pre-sell multi-million dollar residential units at the resort. Building on the romantic vision, I used soft, detailed illustration style for this site plan. My goal was to capture its lush gardens, verdant foliage, cool breezes, and the brilliant turquoise waters of the Florida Keys.
